Seventh Rant: The Terri Schiavo Issue (Part 2)
Earlier this morning the House of Representatives voted to reinsert Terri Schiavo's feeding tube. In my opinion, the Congress should not have gotten involved in the situation, as they have more important things to worry about. I feel that Michael Schiavo has more rights than the parents, though I sympathize with the parents on this one. In Genesis 2:24, it says that the man "will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and they will become one flesh." Therefore, the parents lost all rights to how she should be taken care of when she married Michael. This is a matter for the States, and they had their say, so that should be good. I know she did not have a living will, but as I mentioned in my last rant, should what a married couple say be just as good?
