As they say, the early bird….

gets The News

BaghdadDebbieA new year, the same old boring tripe from Debbie Wasserman Schultz aka #DumbDeb, #DitzyDebbie, #KennyGWithBreasts (h/t to Neal Boortz for that nickname), and #BaghdadDebbie (I got the nickname from Saddam’s communications director during the second Iraq War who the comedians referred to as Baghdad Bob. After all, I think that nickname fits her rather well as does the pic)

Much to the delight of Conservatives and the chagrin of liberals, The Tea Party is not going anywhere

It seems that Governor Neil Abercrombie (Democrat of Hawaii) stirred a hornet’s nest with his appointment of Brian Schatz (Democrat Lieutenant Governor) to replace Daniel Inouye and not Rep. Colleen Hanabusa (Democrat from Hawaii’s 1st district) as Senator of Hawaii

Looking to replace Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. to represent Illinois’ 2nd District? The filing deadline has closed

For the armchair political pundit, here is your Guide to the 2014 Senate races

Denny Rehberg (Republican and former Montana Representative for the entire state) and Heather Wilson (Republican and former New Mexico Representative from the 1st District) say they are done with politics

Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide for their blowout of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in last night’s Bowl Championship Series in Miami.

DwayneJohnsonAtThe2009TribecaFilmFestivalI wonder what the BCS game would get in the ratings when it went head to head against Monday Night RAW which was live from Tampa and featured Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who will face C.M. Punk at the Royal Rumble January 27 in Phoenix, Arizona. (I missed both, but as I am a huge wrestling fan ever since 1984 I would have watched WWE RAW as it might be sports entertainment (I have on occasion referred to it as a male soap opera) but it makes for some interesting discussions.

And that is all that is news today. I might not spend a lot of time on Twitter today due to my eye doctor appointment and then celebrate Christmas late with my sister and brother in law (who are in town from Northern Virginia) but I will be working on my “Red, Right, and Blue” and also my “Rick Bulow, New Media” pages throughout the day. Feel free to check them out and give them a like. I might also work on my message board as my sister will be working and will not be home until about 5 or 6 PM Eastern.
