And there is no news to keep you up to date, which is all right, as you can check out InstaPundit, The Layfield Report, Drudge, and Breitbart for more news
And in case you missed it, here is the news from yesterday and Monday
The special election to fill Tim Scott’s (Republican from South Carolina) congressional seat yielded former governor Mark Sanford and Curtis Bostic. The run-off is non Tuesday, and The Other McCain has your complete coverage:
- #TrustCurtis @Bostic4Congress Campaign Has Eight Days to Stop Sanford in S.C.
- South Carolina ‘Cash Money’ Loyalty
- Can the Shoe Leather Fund Send Me to South Carolina? O, Ye of Little Faith! (Hit his tip jar aka shoe leather fund)
If there is one thing that Robert Stacy McCain believes in it is that shameless blogwhoring is the way to go if you want to get noticed in the blogosphere.
Things are really getting hectic in the Middle East since Obama’s recent trip, lending the question on if he really deserved the Nobel Peace Prize prior to his inauguration in 2009. Here is just a little taste of said hecticocity (I know that is not a typical word. I blame Obama) there:
- Syria: It’s Complicated. Also, It Sucks.
- Mr. Nobel Peace Prize Works His Magic: Israel Now at War With Syria?
In addition to the news from The Other McCain, there is news from elsewhere.
The birthers are at it again. They erroneously say Marco Rubio is not eligible to be President even though he was born in Miami, Florida (which if I am not mistaken IS in the United States) and now they say Ted Cruz is not eligible to be President because he was born to an American citizen in Canada
h/t to Diane Sori of The Patriot Factor for her op-ed entitled Gay marriage...the issue de jour
h/t to W.J.J. Hoge of Hogewash for his piece on Everyone Blog About the Howard County State’s Attorney Day
Mr. Hoge also has a rather interesting Team Kimberlin Post of the Day featuring a one man protest from Blog Bash at CPAC
Join Watchdog Wire today at 12 noon Eastern for a live Tweet-Up with Katie Pavlich, Editor at townhall.com and author of Fast and Furious: Barack Obama's Bloodiest Scandal and the Shameless Cover-Up. Katie is also the winner of the 2013 CPAC Blogger of the Year. More information can be found here.
h/t to Peter Ream for his sarcastic piece entitled Please Send Help, I Am Near Death (based on what #BaghdadDebbie suggested about the Sequester cuts bringing federal employees to the brink of starvation. ED. NOTE: I looked on Free Radical Network and do not see a tip jar there, but I do suggest supporting them any way you can as they are good people)
The Road to WrestleMania is in the home stretch. There are 11 more days left and the WrestleMania 29 card is slowly coming to form. Six wrestlers will make their WrestleMania debut and two of them (Big E. Langston and Fandango) will make their in-ring debut even though they had interfered in matches and also engaged in a little post-match beatdown. Click here for a review of what happened on RAW this past Monday.
This Saturday I will be interviewing Joe the Plumber on Red, Right, and Blue at 1:30 PM Eastern. We will be discussing his AR-15 giveaway and his rise in popularity. We will also be discussing his new PAC entitled Joe4America, which you can follow on Twitter@Joe4AmericaPAC. More information will come in the Friday news as well as on my Red, Right, and Blue blog.
h/t to Jedediah Bila for her article entitled Happy Easter! (Can We Still Say That?)
And that is all the news that is news. Follow me on Twitter (@RickBulow1974) for more news and other interesting tidbits. And also do not forget Robert Stacy McCain’s 5 most important words in the English language: HIT THE FREAKING TIP JAR. In my case, hit the tip jar and help out a capitalist.
