Yesterday marked the beginning of Super Bowl Week. The Super Bowl is this Sunday at the Superdome in New Orleans, and pits the San Francisco 49’ers and Baltimore Ravens. Kickoff is slated for 6:20 PM Eastern, but the Trash-talking is already beginning. Today is Super Bowl Media Day, and you never know what will be said or who will show up to do the interviews.

The WWE began their annual “Road to WrestleMania” Sunday night with the Royal Rumble. As of this writing there are 68 days until WrestleMania 29 which is being held in Met Life Stadium in New Jersey on April 7, with the Hall of Fame ceremony being held in Madison Square Garden on April 6. Much has happened to begin the Road to WrestleMania Sunday and last night. In case you missed it:

  • WWE Monday Night Raw from January 28 – “RAW Roulette”, CM Punk claims he was robbed, Rock Celebration, Elimination Chamber Main event set, Cena announces he will battle the winner of Rock v. Punk at WrestleMania, Trish Stratus announced as third person (after Mick Foley and Bob Backlund) inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Brock Lesnar returns

I would like to thank AJ Reissig, author of Escape to Freedom: Book One in the FreedomRedux Series, for his appearance on Red, Right, and Blue Saturday afternoon. In case you missed it, check out the podcast.
